Gurgaon:

A woman and her husband were molested and assaulted by four men following an argument at a club, police said Tuesday.

Senior police officers said an FIR has been registered in the matter and efforts are on to identify the accused with the help of CCTV footage.

According to the complaint filed by the resident of Sector 102, the incident occurred on March 10 when she and her husband went to a club in Sector 40.

While she was dancing on the dance floor, four men allegedly began behaving inappropriately with her. The woman said that when she objected, the accused not only beat the couple but also molested her.

The police were informed of the incident when they arrived at the scene, but the defendant had managed to escape.

Based on the woman’s complaint, the four persons were arrested on Monday at the Sector 40 police station here under sections 323 (causing hurt), 354 (obscenity) and 34 (common intention) of the Indian Penal Code, officials said. An FIR was registered against unknown men. .
