A 30-year-old woman died after becoming trapped in machinery.

The incident was reported to have occurred at approximately 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 10, at the Carolina Cotton Mill in Gaffney. people.

The worker, Brianna Danielle Coyle, was pronounced dead after being found trapped by co-workers shortly before 1 p.m. and taken to Cherokee Medical Center.

She worked at the Carolina Cotton Mill in Gaffney, South Carolina. Founded in 1995, Carolina Cotton Works is known for its production of medical clothing, mask fabrics, flame-retardant workwear, military uniforms and automotive interior fabrics.

Co-workers found Coyle trapped in the machine and rushed her to Cherokee Medical Center. Sadly, she was pronounced dead shortly before 1 p.m.

“Witnesses said Coyle was trapped on the machine she was working on,” Fowler told NBC affiliate WYFF-TV. “She was found by a co-worker and taken to Cherokee Medical Center for treatment.”

“We were involved in a tragic incident at CCW today,” a company spokesman said. “Unfortunately, one of our employees has passed away. We are deeply saddened and are cooperating with the appropriate authorities in their investigation.”
