‘Why the entire party was called upon’: Kangana Ranaut’s mother on Congress leader’s post

Days after Supriya Shrinate posted derogatory posts against Bollywood actress and Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Kangana Ranaut, her mother Asha Ranaut says she feels pain.

“She (Ms Shrinate) also has a daughter and daughter-in-law at home. If she talks like this, they should think how they would feel if someone talked to their children like this… I have the same pain” in my On… If one person uses derogatory language, why should I blame an entire political party? Not everyone is a bad person,” Asha Ranaut told ANI on Friday.

Meanwhile, Kangana Ranaut, the BJP candidate from Himachal Pradesh’s Mandi Lok Sabha seat, held a roadshow in the city to prepare for the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

The “Queen” actress received a warm welcome as she waved to the crowd during the event.

“You can see the big rallies here. A lot of people are coming here. They are all very proud that Mandi’s daughter, the nationalist voice from Mandi, will represent the constituency in this election,” she said before the roadshow.

“Development is the main issue for the BJP. The people of Mandi will show what is in their heart,” added Ms. Ranaut, as supporters around her welcomed her by shouting “Jai Shri Ram” slogans.

Himachal Pradesh has four Lok Sabha seats – Hamirpur, Mandi, Shimla and Kangra – all of which the BJP won in 2019.

Elections to four Lok Sabha seats in Himachal Pradesh and by-elections to six assembly constituencies falling vacant due to the disqualification of six rebel Congress MLAs will be held on June 1.
