It’s a great respect. And that’s why he did not celebrate his wicket. Harshal took three wickets for 24 runs at an economy rate of 6.00 in his four-over spell. He dismissed Dhoni for a golden duck on the fifth ball of the 19th over. Speaking after the first innings, Harshal commented on the pitch at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium and said that the wicket was dry. The PBKS bowler said that the ball was reversing during his first over.

“The wicket was in dry condition. I have a lot of respect for him for celebrating when I got him (Dhoni) out. One advantage of playing a one-day game is that the square is quite rough. Remembering the first innings of the match, Punjab won the toss and decided to bowl. Ravindra Jadeja (43), Ruturaj Gaikwad (32), and Daryl Mitchell (30) were the standout batsmen for Chennai as they took the visitors to 167/9. None of the other batsmen could stand against the bowling attack of PBKS.

Punjab performed brilliantly while bowling and stopped CSK from forming partnerships. Harshal Patel and Rahul Chahar led the PBKS bowling attack and took three wickets each in their respective spells.

The target of 168 proved too much for PBKS and the franchise lost by 28 runs.
