A 27 -year -old man is in police custody, when he is barricading himself inside a whitby house, while equipped with a knife, officials say there was a serious violation of the conditions of the court order.
Durham regional police say the authorities were called to a residence near Chestnut Street East and Perry Street before the report of an unwanted person on the property on Sunday, July 20, 7:30 pm.
When the officer arrived, the suspect stopped himself inside the house with a knife. Investigators say that the man was subject to court terms to stay away from both residence and his living.
Following a stressful deadlock, the police said the suspect got out of the house and was taken into custody without further incident.
Jordan Wheeler, a 27 -year -old Jordan wheeler of a certain address, is facing eight cases of failing to follow an probation order. The police also confirmed that the wheeler wanted several unrelated charges at the time of arrest.
He was kept for bail hearing.
