When asked ‘Where is Jetha ji Babita’, TMKOC fame Dilip Joshi gave a funny answer; Watch

Dilip Joshi, best known for his role of Jethalal in the popular sitcom Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah (TMKOC), recently had a light-hearted interaction with the paparazzi which has created a stir on social media. When asked about Babita ji’s whereabouts, the actor was caught on camera giving a funny reply.

In a video shared by Viral Bhayani, which is going viral on social platforms, he can be heard teasingly asking the photographers, “Jetha ji, where is Babita ji?” (Where is Jetha ji, Babita ji?) Well, after some time Dilip Joshi also replied and said, ‘Where else at your home.’ This incident happened at the wedding reception of Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare. Fans are also seen in a fun-filled mood. Munmun Dutta is known for playing the character of Babita ji in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.

Disha Vakani’s iconic character was missing from the show for more than six years. Disha, who played the role of Daya Jethalal Gada in Asit Kumar Modi’s sitcom, went on indefinite maternity leave in 2017 and has not returned to the show since then.

Earlier this year, on the occasion of completing 15 years of successfully entertaining the audience, producer Asit Modi made a big announcement that he will soon bring back fan favorite Disha Vakani aka Dayaben. He said, “Hearty congratulations to all of them on this journey of 15 years. There is one such artist whom we cannot forget. That artist is Daya Bhabhi aka Disha Vakani. He has entertained fans and made us laugh for so many years. Fans are waiting for her to come back and I promise you all that Disha Vakani will be back in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah soon.
