WhatsApp launched the Channels feature last year as a one-way tool for broadcasting messages and media. Over time, Meta has added a host of new features, making Channels a more comprehensive feature.

Now, WhatsApp has brought another update for channels that will allow users to pin channels, WABetaInfo reported. This feature was discovered in the WhatsApp Beta for Android version 2.24.4.3 update.

Simply put, this feature allows you to pin your favorite channels that you visit frequently to the top of your list. This simplifies access to specific channels without having to scroll through the entire list. You can also organize them by priority, ensuring that when you want to check out something new, it’s just a few taps away. Not only does this help you save time when you want to quickly access something, but it also makes the UI cleaner.

WhatsApp Channel Pin feature: When will it be launched?

This feature is currently under development and will be available in a future version of the app. This means you currently cannot access it.

In related news, WhatsApp has also launched the ability to include polls in WhatsApp channels. In addition, users can send voice messages and create administrators of up to 16 people. These features enable WhatsApp Channels owners to gauge interest and get real-time feedback on specific topics or developments, which is very convenient for them.
