Ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 season opener between Mumbai Indians (MI) and Gujarat Titans (GT), star batsman Rohit Sharma says preparation Work has always been his “key”.
Rohit said the preparation before the match gave him a lot of confidence. The 36-year-old added that he does a lot of things before the game. Talking about the young players in the team, Rohit said that they have performed well in both international and domestic cricket. He also hopes that the young players can perform well in the competition from the first game.
“Preparation has always been key for me and that gives me confidence going into any game. I do a lot of things before a game and I think I’ve pretty much done everything now, just a few things here or there left. I will do it now and I will be ready for the game.
“A lot of the players we are getting from the auction are new faces, young players who have performed well both in domestic cricket and international cricket. We are looking forward to it. Hopefully they can make a mark from the start.” Rohit said to the team.
