Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the ‘Developed India Developed Uttar Pradesh’ program in Lucknow on Monday and said that his government will not rest until the benefits of government schemes reach every section of the society.

Addressing the gathering in Lucknow, the Prime Minister said, “We will not rest until the benefits of government schemes reach everyone.” Modi’s guarantee vehicle has reached almost all the villages and cities. “Modi’s guarantee is that the government will not rest until every beneficiary gets the benefits they deserve, be it pucca houses, electricity supply, gas connections or tap water.”

The Prime Minister underlined that today’s development projects are not being evaluated only in terms of investment, but they offer a holistic vision for a better future and a ray of hope for investors.

Recalling his recent visit to the UAE and Qatar, the Prime Minister noted the unprecedented positivity towards India across the world and said every country feels assured and confident in India’s growth story.

The Prime Minister said, “Even though ‘Modi’s Guarantee’ is being widely discussed across the country today, the world is looking at India as a guarantee of better returns.”

Reiterating investor confidence, the Prime Minister said India has bucked the trend when elections are knocking at the door and governments turn away from investments.

Referring to the emergence of a similar trend in Uttar Pradesh, the Prime Minister remarked, “Investors around the world trust the government’s policies and stability.”

Expressing happiness over the state’s progress, the Prime Minister said, “Today, investments worth lakhs of crores of rupees are being made in Uttar Pradesh,” as he is also the MP from Varanasi.

Speaking about today’s development projects, the Prime Minister said that these will change the face of Uttar Pradesh, and congratulated the investors as well as the youth.

On the occasion, PM Modi also launched 14,000 projects worth over Rs 10 lakh crore across Uttar Pradesh at the fourth groundbreaking ceremony of the UP Global Investors Summit 2023 held in February 2023. These projects relate to sectors like manufacturing, renewable energy, IT and ITES. , Food Processing, Housing & Real Estate, Hospitality & Entertainment, and Education among others.

Referring to the seven years of double engine government in Uttar Pradesh, the Prime Minister said that during this period, ‘red tape culture’ has been replaced by ‘red carpet culture’. He said that in the last 7 years, crimes have reduced in UP and business culture has flourished.

The Prime Minister said, “An environment of business, development and trust has developed in Uttar Pradesh in the last 7 years.”

He said that the double engine government has proved the inevitability of change if there is a true will. He noted that exports from the state doubled during this period.

“Today, UP is the state with the highest number of expressways and international airports in the country. It is the state where the country’s first rapid rail is running”, the Prime Minister said, pointing to the presence of a large part of eastern and Uttar Pradesh Said. The Prime Minister underlined the need for new thinking and direction for a developed India.

Elaborating in detail, the Prime Minister gave the example of Rs 10,000 crore assistance to street vendors under the PM Swanidhi Scheme. He said the beneficiaries of the scheme earned an additional annual income of Rs 23,000. He also informed that 75 percent of the beneficiaries of PM Swanidhi are from SC, ST, backward or tribal communities, half of whom are women. He said, “Earlier they had no guarantee for banks, today they have Modi’s guarantee.” He said that this is the social justice of the dreams of Jayaprakash Narayan and Ram Manohar Lohia.

Speaking about the Lakhpati Didi scheme, the Prime Minister said that the policies and decisions of the double engine government benefit both social justice and the economy. He also informed that more than 10 crore women are associated with self-help groups and 1 crore women have become Lakhpati Didi so far. He also highlighted the government’s resolve to create 3 crore Lakhpati Didis which will strengthen the rural economy.

“UP has the potential to become India’s biggest tourism hub”, the Prime Minister said, noting that every person in the country today wants to visit Varanasi and Ayodhya, which are visited by millions of tourists and visitors. The Prime Minister said that this is creating unprecedented opportunities for small entrepreneurs, airline companies and hotel-restaurant owners in UP.

PM Modi also mentioned UP’s better local, national and international connectivity and highlighted the world’s longest cruise service recently launched through Varanasi. He further said that Kumbh Mela is also going to be organized in 2025, which is very important for the economy of the state. He said that in the coming times, a large number of jobs are going to be created here in the tourism and hospitality sector.

Highlighting India’s focus on electric mobility and green energy, the Prime Minister highlighted the government’s emphasis on making India a global hub in such technology and manufacturing. “It is our endeavor that every house and every family in the country becomes a solar power generator,” PM Modi said, referring to the PM Suryaghar or free electricity scheme, where 300 units of electricity will be available free of cost and citizens will also be able to avail solar power. To sell excess power to the government.

Referring to the recent decision of conferring Bharat Ratna on Chaudhary Charan Singh, PM Modi said, “The honor of Chaudhary Saheb, the son of the soil of Uttar Pradesh, is the honor of crores of hardworking farmers of the country.” He talked about conferring the state honour. The Prime Minister reiterated the government’s commitment to support farmers in exploring new paths in agriculture, saying, “We are assisting and encouraging farmers to take our country’s agriculture on a new path.” Citing the emergence of large-scale natural farming along the banks of the Ganga in Uttar Pradesh, he stressed on natural farming and focus on millets, which not only benefits the farmers but also helps in maintaining the purity of our sacred rivers. PM also laid the foundation stone of Shri Kalki Dham Temple in Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh.

The Prime Minister also unveiled the model of Shri Kalki Dham Temple. Shri Kalki Dham is being constructed by Shri Kalki Dham Nirman Trust whose chairman is Acharya Pramod Krishnam. Many saints, religious leaders and other dignitaries are participating in the programme.

Addressing the gathering, the Prime Minister said that the land of Lord Shri Ram and Lord Shri Krishna is once again filled with devotion, emotion and spirituality today as the foundation stone of another important pilgrimage is being laid.

PM Modi expressed gratitude for getting the opportunity to lay the foundation stone of Shri Kalki Dham Temple in Sambhal and also expressed confidence that it will emerge as a new center of India’s spirituality. PM Modi extended his greetings to all citizens and pilgrims across the world.

Referring to the 18-year wait for the inauguration of the Dham, the Prime Minister said that it seems that many good works are still left to be completed. He said that with the blessings of the public and saints, he will continue to complete the incomplete works.
