Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a road show in Rajkot, Gujarat on Sunday.
People showered flower petals on the PM, who waved to his supporters as he walked to the venue.
A large number of people were standing on both sides of the road amid slogans of ‘Modi, Modi’.

Earlier today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi sought blessings from Dwarka Shankaracharya Swami Sadanand Saraswati ji Maharaj at Shankaracharya Math Shardapeeth in Dwarka, Gujarat.
During this, the Prime Minister spent 20 minutes alone with Dwarka Shankaracharya Swami Sadanand Saraswati.
PM Modi offered prayers at the famous Lord Krishna temple Dwarkadhish in Gujarat on Sunday morning.
Situated at the mouth of the Gomti River and the Arabian Sea in Gujarat, the majestic Dwarkadhish Temple is an important Hindu pilgrimage site for Vaishnavites, especially devotees of Lord Krishna, Dwarkadhish Temple is one of the Char Dhams.
The main deity of the temple is Lord Krishna, who is called Dwarkadhish or the king of Dwarka.
Later the temple priests gifted an idol of Lord Krishna to the PM.
Earlier in the day, the PM inaugurated Sudarshan Setu, the country’s longest cable-stayed bridge, about 2.32 km long, connecting Okha mainland and Bayt Dwarka in Gujarat.
“It is a pleasure to inaugurate Sudarshan Setu today – a bridge that connects land and people. It stands vibrantly as a testament to our commitment towards development and progress,” the PM said in a post on Twitter. “
Earlier known as ‘Signature Bridge’, this bridge has been renamed as ‘Sudarshan Setu’ or Sudarshan Bridge.
Bayt Dwarka is an island near Okha port, about 30 km from Dwarka city, where the famous Dwarkadhish temple of Lord Krishna is located.
Built at an estimated cost of Rs 979 crore, the bridge has a four-lane road with a width of 27.20 metres, with 2.50 meter wide footpaths on either side.
‘Sudarshan Setu’ is the longest cable-stayed bridge in India, connecting Okha mainland and Bayt Dwarka island in Gujarat.
