Watch King Charles III livestream as he heads to church on Easter Sunday, his most significant public appearance since being diagnosed with cancer.

The Princess of Wales and her family will not attend the funeral.

Charles, 75, will join the Queen and other members of the royal family for the annual Easter Morning Prayer at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle on Sunday, March 31.

Just a week before the Easter service, Kate posted an emotional video message revealing she had started preventive chemotherapy.

She, the Prince of Wales and their children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, who all attended last year, will miss the ceremony.

Her family are spending the Easter holidays together to adjust to Kate’s diagnosis, which was discovered during a post-operative check-up following major abdominal surgery.

The king’s attendance at church will be seen as a move to appease the public following the shocking news about his daughter-in-law.

But the ceremony will be a smaller version of the annual gathering, with fewer members of the royal family, as the king pauses his public-facing duties while he continues to undergo cancer treatment.
