In the film and television industry, comparisons between two actors are common, whether it’s their latest projects or endorsement deals. While this comparison can sometimes promote healthy competition, it can also create unnecessary rivalry between two actors. Couples who are actors are susceptible to this kind of toxic comparison, especially when one partner is considered less successful than the other. Actor Vivek Dahiya, who has appeared in TV shows like ‘Kavach – Kaali Shaktiyon Se’ and ‘Qayamat Ki Raat’, is no stranger to comparisons with his wife ‘Divyanka Tripath’. Recently, the 39-year-old actor spoke about the feeling of being called “Divyanka Tripathi’s husband” in an interview with ETimes TV.

Vivek mentioned that when he married Divyanka, he was well aware of her fame and they discussed how the constant comparisons between the two might have affected him. He said Divyanka’s parents asked him how he would handle the matter, and he explained: “I gave them (Divyanka’s family) a very clear answer that I will never compare myself to her, Unless she compares herself with me. The day you start thinking that I am Divyanka’s husband and my identity is limited to that, that day I will not be able to control my emotions. But as long as you respect me, I will always I won’t let that happen in our relationship. That’s a promise I made.”

Vivek and Divyanka first met on the sets of the TV show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein and started dating. They got married on July 8, 2016. Divyanka made her television debut in 2006 with the TV series “Banoo Main Teri Dulhann”, while Vivek played the lead role in “Yeh Hai Aashiqui” in 2013, which was his First television role. In 2017, the couple won the dance reality show Nach Baliye 8.

But then it did happen, in some cases I did feel a little frustrated and I usually talked to Divyanka about it.” He added: “She understood me from day one, so there was never an issue. As long as she and I were on the same page. , I don’t care what the world thinks.”
