Video: Sydney mall stabbing man’s father says ‘he was a very sick boy’

Recently, a stabbing incident occurred in a Sydney shopping mall, resulting in six deaths and more than a dozen injuries. Most of the victims were women.

Assailant Joel Cauchi was shot dead by police during a knife attack at Westfield Bondi Junction shopping center on Saturday.

Police have ruled out a terrorist motive and confirmed Couch had a history of mental illness. Detectives are now focusing their investigation on Couch’s family to determine the reasons behind his violent behavior.

The attacker’s father, Andrew Cauchi, revealed his son’s frustration at not having a girlfriend was the root cause of the attack. He felt incredibly frustrated by what he believed was his son’s lack of social skills.
