Video: Seattle police shoot and kill 67-year-old man who came to hotel to meet minor

Seattle police recently shot and killed a 67-year-old man who allegedly arrived at a hotel thinking he was meeting two girls, ages 7 and 11.

The Seattle Police Department (SPD) released body camera footage showing the suspect pulling a gun on officers after they opened the hotel door. There was a brief struggle between police and the man before he was shot.

The man arrived at the DoubleTree Suites Hotel in Tukwila on Wednesday, where he was met by multiple SPD officers from the Washington State Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force pending his arrest, according to police.

Officers shot the man seconds after he pulled out his gun.

Reported by new york post said it was unclear what prompted police to launch the undercover operation.
