Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal got injured while shooting for an intense action sequence for his upcoming film Chhaava. Now, the recovering actor is hitting the gym with major workout goals. Despite the injury, the actor proved his strength through sweat.

Sharing a video of himself on Instagram Stories, the actor wrote, “When we can’t run, we walk. We don’t stop.”

Chhaava is a historical drama that revolves around the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. In the film, Vicky Kaushal will play Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the eldest son of the founder of the Maratha empire. On the other hand, Rashmika Mandanna plays the role of Yesubai Bhonsale in the film. Akshaye Khanna, Ashutosh Rana and Divya Dutta also play important roles in the film. Actor Neil Bhoopalam has also been roped in to play the role of a Mughal prince in the film, reported Pinkvilla.

Vicky Kaushal is in the headlines after Sanjay Leela Bhansali recently announced her next film Love and War. The actor will be seen alongside Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor. Fans are very excited about the movie. “Love and War” was announced for release on January 24th. The film is expected to be released on Christmas Day 2025. Sanjay Leela Bhansali is reportedly taking a break from shooting for his iconic period drama.

Love & War will mark the reunion of Ranbir Sanjay after his debut film Sawwariya. This will also be the fifth film in which Ranbir and Vicky will appear on screen together.

Vicky Kaushal was last seen in Sam Bahadur. The film is based on the life of India’s first Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw. His military career spanned forty years and five wars. He was the first Indian Army officer to be promoted to the rank of Field Marshal and his military victory in the 1971 Indo-Pak war led to the formation of Bangladesh.
