The FSA explained: “Sometimes foods have to be withdrawn or remembered if there is a risk for consumers because the allergy labeling is missing or wrong or if there is any other food allergy risk. When there is a risk of food allergy, the FSA will issue an allergy alert.”

A point-off-cell notice has also been issued to its customers. These notices explain why the product is being remembered and tell them what to do if they have bought the product.

Soya is a food component made of soy beans and is used to make soy sauce and tofu.

According to Anaphylaxis UK, soy may have an immediate response or delay with allergies.

Symptoms of an immediate reaction include a rash, tingling or itching in the mouth, and lips, eye or facial inflammation. It can also cause abdominal pain and vomiting.

People who suffer from delayed allergic reaction may experience abdominal pain, diarrhea and vomiting.

Anaphylaxis UK stated that sesame seeds and sesame oil can cause an allergic reaction, and can sometimes be serious.

In many cases, people who are allergic to sesame can experience a rash, which is known as urticaria anywhere on the body. It may feel tingling or an itchy in the mouth, swelling of lips, pain and vomiting in the face or eyes and eyes and stomach.

In more severe cases, it can cause anaphylaxis, trigger throat inflammation, and difficulty in breathing.
