black Sabbath singer Ozy osborne He has died at the age of 76, his family has announced.
A statement by his family states: “It is more sad than only than words that we can tell that our beloved Ozi Osbourne has passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask all to respect our family at this time.”
He was detected Parkinson’s disease in 2019.
As the frontman of Black Sabbath, he was at the forefront of the heavy metal scene – a deep, dark offshoot of hard rock.
The presence of his dramatic platform, which once cuts the head of a bat, and styling herself as a prince of darkness, marked him as a controversial person.
John Michael Osborne was born on 3 December 1948 in Aston, BirminghamHe left school at the age of 15 and did strange work including the factory work before forming a team with school friends Gyzer Butler in several bands.
Earlier this month, he bid a farewell to fans with a black sabbath reunion, told thousands of heavy metal enthusiasts in Villa Park, Birmingham – a stone throw from where the Black Sabbath was formed in 1968 – that it was “good to be at this level” because he set his final with a big black throne.
Osbourne and his partner were the finals appearing on stage as part of a star-staded line-up for the original Black Sabbath member-Toni Iomi, Terence “Geyser” butler and the bill ward-respective concert.
