Amidst the dip in the mercury, the high reach of the valley received fresh snowfall on Saturday, while the rains provoked the plains including Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir.

According to the news agency-Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Kashmir has fresh and untimely snowfall at many places in high reach, including the Gurez Valley, Sadhana Top, Zoshila Pass, Sinthon Top, Pirwan Valley’s top areas in Gulmarg, Tulal and Razadan.

However, the rains brought the grounds of Kashmir to Jammu and Kashmir further down on Friday-Saturday night.

Amid fresh wet magic, the area recorded a maximum temperature of 14.5 ° C on cold days with Srinagar, which was 12.2 ° C below normal.

Kajigund, an entrance to Kashmir, recorded 13.0 degrees Celsius, which was 12.6 ° C below normal, while Pahalgam recorded 8.2 ° C and 14.8 ° C below normal.

Cokeranag, Kupwara and Gulmarg have recorded a maximum temperature of 12.0 ° C, 12.8 ° C and 6.8 ° C respectively.

The Jammu region has also recorded a cold day with the winter capital, with a maximum temperature of 32.9 degrees Celsius, while Banihal and Batot have recorded 14.6 ° C and 18.1 ° C respectively.

Bhadirwah recorded a maximum temperature of 18.4 degrees Celsius while Katra has recorded 28.6 degrees Celsius.

Meanwhile, an independent weather forecast, Faizan Arif Keng told KNO that the weather conditions would improve from tomorrow, while small mantras of rain may continue during the next three days.

“The temperature will be close to normal to normal during the next three days,” he said.
