Srinagar, May 27, KDC: Jammu and Kashmir High Court Bar Association (JKHCBA) its vice -president, Mubshir Majid Malik, and General Secretary, S. Jeetendra Singh has allegedly removed from his positions and basic membership “from prejudice for the interests of the union and the interests of the union.”
In a formal order issued, a copy of which lies with Kashmir.com in Srinagar, JKHCBA said that the two offices-bearers failed to respond to a show-causation notice on the 21st of this month, demanding a clarification for organizing incidents “without core members”. ,
JKHCBA’s general body resolved to remove them with immediate effect, citing violations of the by -elections of the association, in a meeting held earlier.
The order stated, “Mr. Mubashir Majid Malik is formally removed from the position of the vice -president … and from the basic membership,” the order has been stated in the order.
“Mr. S. Jeetendra Singh is formally removed from the position of the general secretary … and from the basic membership.”
Additionally, both are directed to submit all files, documents and records of KAA/JKHCBA, including the membership register within two days. Failure to comply can lead to “legal measures to recover the property of the association”.
The order signed by the joint secretary of the association insisted that it was decided to maintain the integrity of the association. (KDC)
