The health department said, “A spike in Kovid -19 cases is being seen not only in Maharashtra, but also in other states and even other countries.”
“Kovid is a disease caused by a virus. Currently, ILI (influenza -like disease) and saree (severe acute respiratory infection) survey is going on for Kovid in Maharashtra. In that survey, such patients are regularly tested for covid.
Earlier, the Brihanm Mumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) said on Monday, “Kovid -19 is now considered a spatial and ongoing health problem. As the virus has been installed at a community level, the cases are now sporadic and very rare.
In recent times, the number of Kovid cases in Singapore, Hong Kong, East Asia and other countries has been increasing. The Health Department of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation is constantly monitoring the spread of covid to keep it under control. The release said, “The number of patients has been very low from January to April. Some patients have been observed from May, however, the BMC administration is appealing to citizens not to panic in this regard.”
According to BMC, treatment and guidance facilities are available in civic hospitals, including 20 beds with 20 beds (MICUs), 20 beds for children and pregnant women and 60 common beds. In addition, Kasturba Hospital has a 2 -intensive care (ICU) bed and a special ward of 10 beds, which provides for immediate enhancing capacity.
“Common symptoms of Kovid -19 include fever, cough (dry or with phlegm), sore throat or pain, fatigue, body pain, and headache. Symptoms may also include a flowing nose and taste or loss of smell.
BMC further said that Covid-19 can be prevented from taking proper precautions. Particularly serious diseases and patients with low immunity, such as cancer, elderly, diabetes, high blood pressure and liver disease, should take proper care. BMC has urged citizens to consult a municipal clinic, hospital, or family doctor if they find symptoms such as fever, cough (dry or phlegm), sore throat, fatigue, body pain, and headache.
The corporation has appealed to citizens to publicly wear a mask. If found with symptoms, keep away from others, wash hands often with soap and water and follow a proper diet and relax.
