Two children are among three people, who died after crossing a small boat. English ChannelAccording to French media reports.
Regional prosecutor Laurent Touvet announced at a news conference on Wednesday that the deadly incident had exiting the coast of Sangate in the early hours of this morning, late Tuesday night.
He said that the three who died were “crushed at the bottom of the boat” who were carrying 38 people in the English channel.
The boat was brought to the shore by rescue services from around 5 pm local time.
Another three people have been declared missing, when another boat attempted a crossing from the Nephetail-Hardelot, around an hour-long drive from the coast from the Sangate.
After getting into difficulty, a third boat was also rescued with 115 people in the Kallis region. There was no injury in that example.
The office of the Callis prosecutor convicted death on smuggled gangs responsible for organizing deadly crossings.
The prosecutor’s office said in a post on X, “Smugglers take responsibility for these tragedies. The state has been scheduled to compete.”
Another person was declared dead on Tuesday after trying to cross the channel in a small boat.
A spokesman for the Kent Police said that the woman was placed back on the shore around 1 pm, where she was declared dead.
