Washington:
US President Donald Trump said he was expected to meet King Charles III in Britain on Thursday, on an unprecedented second state visit that London’s expectations would promote transatlantic relations.
The British Prime Minister Kir Stmper invited Trump to the emperor during a meeting at the Oval Office in February as he tried to win the American leader on tariffs and Ukraine.
“I think they are setting a date for September,” Trump told reporters.

Trump will become the first political leader to receive Britain’s second state trip after leaving for his first term as President.
The 78 -year -old Republican has long been an outspoken fan of the British royal family.
Due to the fact that his mother was born in Scotland, where he owns a golf course, he also has a close relationship in Britain.
