Toronto police arrested man in online lurring investigation

A Port Perry Man has been arrested by the Toronto Police in connection with an online leuring investigation.

Investigators alleged between April 2 and July 15, the 47-year-old man operating several different social media platforms and was using accounts to woo children under 16 years of age.

Joel Banbury was arrested on 15 July and was accused of four cases of enticing a child under 16 years of age, sexual touching, sexual harassment (effort), invitation for sexual intervention (attempt) and transmitting sexually clear material to a person under 16.

It was allegedly using Banbari “John Cage” or “Johnny Styles”.

He was scheduled to appear in court on 16 July.
