A teenager has been arrested and accused in connection with a month -long firearms investigation.
According to Durham Regional Police Service, a 17 -year -old boy from Toronto is accused of pointing to a gun in a group of men inside the Oshwa Center shopping mall in October 2024.
Investigators say there was a “change” that ended with a boy fleeing in the walking area.
Then, in April 2025, a judge signed a warrant to discover a residence in Toronto. However, it is not clear what evidence the police exposed.
The 17 -year -old, who could not be identified under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, was already in custody for another unrelated crime when the police made three new allegations against him, pointing to a gun, pointing to a gun, holding a dangerous weapon and following a release order.
