Three women arrested in murder investigation after Cardiff man found dead

Three women have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man was found dead in Cardiff.

A murder investigation was launched after emergency services discovered the 48-year-old man, from the Grangetown area of ​​the city, in the Heol-Y-Berllan and Heol Trelai areas of Karlaw at about 11.30pm on Sunday.

The victim’s family have been informed of the incident and are being supported by specially trained officers.

Three women have been arrested on suspicion of murder. A 28-year-old woman from Ely, a 43-year-old woman from Carlaw and a 43-year-old woman from Worcestershire remain in custody.

A police cordon remains in place in Carlaw, a community in Cardiff’s west.

Detective Superintendent Darren George, of South Wales Police’s homicide unit, said: “A murder investigation has begun and although a number of arrests have been made, it is still in its early stages and this is an appeal for witnesses who may have been in the inferno. ” y traveled to the Berllan and Heol Trelai areas of Caerau between 11pm and midnight last night to provide information, no matter how trivial they felt it was.
