Three people are missing after one boxing Day house fire gloucestershirePolice have confirmed.

Emergency services attended a property on Brimscombe Hill, near Stroud, at around 3am.

One person was admitted to hospital for treatment; Three are still unaccounted for.

A spokesperson for Gloucestershire Police said: “Officers attended the scene along with crews from Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service and the ambulance service.

“One man, who was able to get out of the property, was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital for treatment.

“Three other people, who are believed to have been inside the property, have not yet been located and efforts are ongoing to locate them.”

Roads are closed on Brimscombe Hill while emergency services remain at the scene and people are being asked to stay away from the area.

The spokesperson said an investigation is being conducted to determine the cause of the fire.
