Three people have been charged with public order offenses following a pro-Palestinian protest outside Sir Keir Starmer’s home.

Leonora Ward, 21, from Leeds, Zosia Lewis, 23, from Newcastle-upon-Tyne, and Daniel Formentin, 24, from Leeds, will appear at Westminster today, the Metropolitan Police said. Appeared at Sturt Magistrates Court.

A police spokesman said: “All have been charged with breaching section 42 of the Criminal Justice and Police Act 2001 and breaching court bail.

“The arrest was made under Section 42 of the Criminal Justice and Police Act 2001 on Tuesday, April 9.

“This power can stop a person harassing a residential address if a police officer suspects that the harassment causes alarm or distress to the occupants.”
