As far as its smartphone lineup is concerned, OnePlus is known to launch products targeting the Chinese market and other parts of the world, including India. Now, after launching the OnePlus 12 series earlier this year, the brand is said to be preparing to launch it again soon, but in China.
Details about the upcoming OnePlus Ace Pro, the next entry in China’s OnePlus Ace series, have surfaced via leaks from Chinese tipster Smart Pikachu, first reported by GizmoChina.
According to the leaked information, the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro is expected to be powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset that also powers its flagship OnePlus 12, coupled with up to 24GB LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.0 storage options.
In terms of display, the machine is expected to continue the tradition of OnePlus curved smartphone displays, using a 6.78-inch OLED panel with a resolution of 1.5K and supporting a high refresh rate of 120Hz.
Turning attention to the build, previous hints suggested a combination of metal and glass, in line with OnePlus’ approach seen with the OnePlus 12 series. The exact release date for Chinese users remains unclear. However, according to a report by GizmoChina, the device may be unveiled in the first half of 2024.
The OnePlus Ace 3 Pro is expected to be the direct successor of the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro, which entered the market in August last year and was priced at CNY 2,999 (approximately Rs 35,000).
