Ryan Reynolds said he was “crying tears of joy” after Wrexham were promoted for a second consecutive season, while Rob McElhenney said he had “no words”.

The Hollywood actor took over the Welsh football club in 2021 and their side sealed their place in the league next season with a 6-0 win over Forest Green.
