‘This is Sarfaraz Khan’: Rohit Sharma reveals the truth behind ‘Aage Badhega’ stump mic chat virus

Indian youngsters Dhruv Yurel and Sarfaraz Khan performed brilliantly in the recently concluded five-match series against England, which the hosts eventually won 4-1. “Brilliant! It was Sarfaraz who predicted that stumble. I put him a little behind at short leg and he shouted ‘ab ye aage badhega’. I’m enjoying playing with these youngsters.” . I hope we can play a lot of cricket together. “Next ball, Pop was stumped,” Rohit revealed during the interaction.

Meanwhile, Sarfaraz and Jurel have met the criteria of playing three Test matches this season and entered Group C of the BCCI Central Contract with a retainer fee of Rs 1 crore per year.

Their names were approved at the BCCI Apex Governing Council meeting held on Monday.

Mumbai’s domestic heavyweight Sarfaraz scored three half-centuries in three Tests against England, while Agra native Jurel scored 90 and 39 respectively in a tricky chase in Ranchi The score earned him the Man of the Match award in the second game.

Approval of the central contract was on the agenda and approved by both parties.
