Service

We arrived quite late having flown in from the UK and within minutes of entering the hotel we were warmly welcomed into the shining bar, with two ice-cold Negronis in our hands. Overall, the service feels comfortable and encouraging, but not overly pretentious. One morning we forgot a little about breakfast, but partly because there were so many options for where to sit and eat: in the dining room, in the garden, or on the roof terrace. If you want something a little more private, and want to eat chips in your dressing gown after a night out on the town, this is the place to do it – room service is quick, friendly and no-fuss.

The hotel feels like a home from home ,Hotel Sanders,

The five-storey hotel has 54 bedrooms and each one is unique. The artworks above the beds – a mix of soft paintings and drawings, including many of ballet dancers – all have slightly different wooden frames, making each space feel as if it’s grown as naturally as a home over time. The light-filled bathrooms feature beautiful tiling and ceramic paneling, rattan headboards in the bedrooms and toiletries from the hotel’s own care line Mimi K.

Love sitting on a roadside terrace on a sunny evening, sipping rosé and eating fresh oysters served from a retro cart? Then Sanders is the right place. If you want a slightly more sensible meal, breakfast features a delicious range of pastries and Danish salmon and cold cuts, and the tomato toast with creamy ricotta is a highlight. The simple dinner menu is a mix of Danish and global flavours. The bar, Tata, feels like a real hotspot for local creators.
