Qualcomm announced the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset on Monday, March 18. This is said to be a more affordable version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, which has been widely used in many flagship smartphones since its release last year. Following the launch of the latest AI-powered Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC, multiple brands have confirmed the adoption of 4nm octa-core chipsets in some of their upcoming models. Here are all the phones confirmed to feature the new SoC.

Motorola X50 Ultra

in a weibo postalMotorola has confirmed that the upcoming Moto X50 Ultra will be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC. The company nicknamed this model an “AI phone.” Outside of China, the model is said to be launched as Motorola Edge 50 Pro in certain global markets, including India. In the US, the phone may be launched as Motorola Edge+ (2024).

Meanwhile, the Motorola Edge 50 Pro has been confirmed to launch in India with a 6.7-inch 1.5K resolution 144Hz curved display with 2,000 nits peak brightness, a 50-megapixel triple rear camera unit, and will be available in three color options.

Xiaomi Citizen 4 Pro

Xiaomi also Announce In a Weibo post, Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro will be launched globally and powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset. This model also comes with the company’s HyperOS user interface. Xiaomi has yet to reveal other details about the phone.

However, a Xiaomi model with model number 24053PY09I has been spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification website. The phone is expected to be launched in India as Xiaomi 14 Lite and in China as Xiaomi Civi 4. The company has not confirmed either model yet.

Redmi Note 13 Turbo

The company is yet to confirm the name of the model but has teased it with the tag “New Redmi Series”. It is expected to be the Redmi Note 13 Turbo that was recently leaked online. The model is expected to be launched outside China as Poco F6.

The Redmi Note 13 Turbo is expected to run on Android 14-based HyperOS. It is said to be equipped with a 6.78-inch 144Hz 1.5K OLED display and a 6000mAh battery that supports 80W wired fast charging.

iQoo Z9 Turbo

In another Weibo post, iQoo point out The iQoo Z9 series will be launched in China in April and will be equipped with the newly launched Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset. The company did not list the models expected to be launched in this lineup. The iQoo Z9 5G base version was recently launched in India and is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 SoC. Therefore, it is speculated that the iQoo Z9 Turbo model that was leaked online earlier may be equipped with Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC. The Turbo model is likely to feature a 1.5K display and pack a 6,000mAh battery.
