Union Minister Anurag Thakur said on Wednesday that there is no proposal for Union ministers to go to Ayodhya to visit the Ram temple. Responding to a question on whether the entire cabinet would visit the Ram temple on the lines of various BJP-ruled states, Thakur said no member was going there at present.
“There is no proposal from the Cabinet that cabinet ministers will go there,” he said. Answering questions after a briefing on the decisions taken by the Union Cabinet, the minister said that personally, he would like to tell the people. Would suggest visiting the temple town keeping in mind the decisions taken and advisories issued by the Uttar Pradesh government. High footfall.
Nearly five lakh devotees visited the Ram temple complex on the first day of its doors being opened to the public on Tuesday, a day after the consecration ceremony.
