Budgam, July 22, KDC: A youth was seriously injured after being attacked with a sharp -edged weapon in Arath area of Budgam district of Central Kashmir on Tuesday evening.
Official sources told Kashmir.com (KDC) The victim, identified as Sameer Ahmed, a resident of Arath, faced serious injuries in the attack.
He was initially rushed to JVC Hospital in Srinagar and later sent to Skims Sora for advanced treatment due to his ‘important’ nature of injuries.
The police have registered an FIR and have initiated an investigation to detect the cause of the attack and identify the people involved.
