A spokesperson of the Hospital Trust said: “The allegations are not related to the professional conduct of Mr. Hopper and there is no evidence to suggest any risk to the patients.

“Mr. Hopper worked in the Royal Cornwal hospitals since 2013, until he was suspended from duty after his initial arrest in March 2023.

“Any question or concern about their treatment can contact the patient experience team of Royal Cornwal hospitals.”
