“The situation is getting better”: JKNC MP Mian Altaf on India, agrees to stop Pak enmity

Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC) MP Mian Altaf Ahmed on Monday welcomed the agreement to end the enmity of India and Pakistan.

He demanded jobs for the living family members of those who died during cross -border firing from Pakistan. He also mentioned damage to the houses provoked in Rajouri and Ponch.

The leader of the National Conference said that the situation, however, is getting better in the region and urged the administration to provide necessary assistance to the local people.

He said, “The family members of those who lost their lives should be given jobs. The houses in Rajouri, Poonch have been damaged. The administration should provide necessary assistance to the people. Now the situation is getting better,” he told ANI.

Meanwhile, after the end of enmity between India and Pakistan, the Director General of Military Operations (DGMO) of the two countries will hold talks at 12 noon on Monday.

The Indian Armed Forces held a joint press briefing in New Delhi on Sunday, including Lieutenant General Rajiv Gai (Director General of Military Operations), Vice Admiral A. Commode (Director General Navy Operations), and Air Marshall Ak Bharti (Director General of Air Operations).

He confirmed that India hit 11 airbase inside Pakistan and caused significant damage to its military capabilities. Authorities jointly declare the success of “Operation Sindoor”, with the objective of neutralizing terrorist infrastructure inside Ke-Pakistan, a border-cross-welfare operation. Operation also eliminated more than 100 terrorists.

The development came to light of increased tension after India’s recent military operations between India and Pakistan, which targeted the terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan -administered Kashmir to Kashmir on April 22 in response to a terrorist attack in Pahgam, which claimed 26 lives. India’s military operations included accurate attacks on nine sites known as terrorist infrastructure, including terrorist camps in Muzaffarabad, Kotli and Bahawalpur. (AI)
