Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Madhya Pradesh on Sunday to contribute to the state and lay the foundation for multiple development projects worth around Rs 7,300 crore in tribal-dominated Jhabua district, officials said.

Prime Minister Modi will work on and lay the foundation for several initiatives that will benefit the tribal population of the region, an official release said.

He will distribute monthly installments of the Aahar Anudan Yojana to about two lakh women beneficiaries, which will provide nutritious food of Rs 1,500 per month to women from various specially backward tribes in Madhya Pradesh.

It is said that he will distribute 1.75 lakh “adhikar abhilekh” (record of rights) to the beneficiaries of the SVAMITVA scheme, which will provide people with documentary evidence of their land rights.

The Prime Minister will also lay the foundation stone of Tanti Mamabir University, a university dedicated to serving young people in the region’s high concentration of tribals. The university is said to be constructed at a cost of Rs 170 crore and will provide world-class infrastructure for the all-round development of students.

Prime Minister Modi will also transfer Rs 55.9 crore to 559 villages under Pradhan Mantri Adarsh ​​Gram Yojana, which will be used for various construction activities including Anganwadi Bhawans, fair price shops, health centres, extra rooms in schools, internal roads, etc. .

The Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone of ‘CM Rise School’ in Jhabua.

The school will integrate technology to provide students with modern facilities such as smart classrooms and electronic libraries.

According to reports, he will also dedicate himself to the country by laying the foundation for several projects that will enhance water and drinking water supply in Madhya Pradesh.

Projects that are about to lay foundation stones include the ‘Talawada Project’, a water supply scheme to provide drinking water to over a thousand villages in Dhar and Ratlam; and the Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT) 2.0 14 urban water supply schemes benefiting more than 50,000 urban households in various districts of Madhya Pradesh.

The Prime Minister will donate 50 grams of Jhabua panchayat to the national ‘Nal Jal Yojana’, which will provide piped water to around 11,000 families.

He is also said to be launching and laying foundation stones for multiple railway projects during the programme.

These include laying the foundation for redevelopment of Ratlam railway station and Meghnagarh railway station.

These stations will be redeveloped under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme.

Railway projects that will be dedicated to the country include Indore-Dewas-Ujjain C-class railway line doubling project; Itarsi-North-South classifier and site improvement; Third line connecting Barkhera-Budni-Itarsi.

The projects will help strengthen rail infrastructure and reduce travel times for passenger and freight trains, the report said.
