A gunman chased the frightened victim along a city center street before shooting him in the neck.

On September 10, Hayden Frost jumped on an electric bicycle and fled the scene, leaving the victim with a gunshot wound to his neck.

Frost, 26, had earlier followed the man to the Iron Horse pub on Flaxley Road, where he was captured on CCTV hiding in bushes and observing his every move as he socialized with friends.

The man left the bar and walked to a nearby ATM, where Frost emerged and chased him before shooting him several times.

Frost was found guilty of attempted murder at Birmingham Crown Court on Wednesday (April 3) and sentenced to 32 years in prison.
