The hopes and dreams of the youth can only flourish in a peaceful environment: LG Sinha

Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha today attended the Kashur custom 2025, which is a mega event, which is celebrating the culture of Kashmir in Baramalla.

In his address, the Lieutenant Governor congratulated 20,000 youths of Baramulla for creating history and achieving the world record title.

“By coming together for Ladisha and calligraphy, you have set a new world record. This achievement will serve as an inspiration to re -connect with its heritage in the society sections, embrace their culture and maintain their values,” said the Lieutenant Governor.

He also appreciated the Indian Army and District Administration Baramulla for commendable efforts.

“I salute the dedication and commitment of my army. They are not only protecting the unity and integrity of the nation, but are also actively serving as the protector of the lively cultural heritage of the region and constantly trying to fulfill their youth’s dreams and aspirations.

Unity in diversity is a hallmark of the great culture of India. The Indian Army has consistently worked to exploit this power for social gains, which created opportunities for the youth to strengthen national unity through literature, music, art and sports.

The Lieutenant Governor reiterated the commitment of the Government of India and the Jammu and Kashmir administration under the leadership of Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to empower the youth of Jammu and Kashmir. He said that with the attitude of the entire government, we are working to align the aspirations of the youth of Jammu and Kashmir with the aspirations of the nation.

The Lieutenant Governor said, “The expectations and dreams of the youth can only flourish in a peaceful environment. Pakistan -backed terrorism and separatism looted Jammu and Kashmir and looted the aspirations of peace, progress and youth. Now, Jammu and Kashmir are moving fast,” Lieutenant Governor said.

The Lieutenant Governor expressed his gratitude from the Army, Paramilitary and Police Force to successfully execute Operation Mahadev, including three Pakistani militants on April 22, which included in the Dachigam forest.

He called upon the youth to rise above the language, sect and religion and collectively compete with those who spread public disturbance.

The Governor of Lieutenant said, “There are disturbing elements in the society that try to justify terrorism and innocent life and try to make the aspirations and dreams of millions of youth hostage. Such individuals need to be unmatched,” said the Lieutenant Governor.

He further demanded the support of the younger generation in the fight against drug menus and brought the youth who have become victims of drug addiction in the mainstream.

On the occasion, the Lieutenant Governor announced the Guru-Shishya Parampara program of the Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Arts, Culture and Languages and Calligraphy courses in collaboration with the University of Kashmir.

J&K Academy is going to launch 6 months and one year certificate/ diploma course with Culture and Language of Kashmir in allgraphy.

Under JKAACL’s Guru-Shishya Parampara program, the gurus will get 4-8 shishyas in extinct arts and Rs 10,000 per month. Infant will also get Rs 5000 per month, while assistants will get Rs 7500 per month.
