The Central Kashmir Excise Range performed a targeted operation at brick kilns located in Panjan of village of Tehsil Chadura on Friday, Budgamand recovered 380 liters of lahaan and 5 liters of illegal liquor/soul was in a separate area around the brick kils.
The raids were conducted under the supervision of Excise Commissioner, Subash Chander Chibbar and Deputy Excise Commissioner (Executive) Kashmir, Tajyun Mukhtar.
The team conducting the raid included the Excise and Taxation Officer, Central Kashmir along with three range inspectors and other field officers. On this occasion, all contrasts were destroyed on the spot.
This enforcement action gives an example of the commitment of the Excise Department to curb illegal activities and maintain the rule of law.
