Temes Water wrote in a statement, “If you are affected by the road closure in Cliffum Park Road, SW4, we are very sorry.”
“We are currently working with a burst pipe, which has flooded the area in large quantities.
“To keep the public and our team safe, we have installed traffic lights while working on the road. Sorry for the impact on traffic in this area, and there may be any delay in your journey
“Due to the size of the pipe and the place is going to be a hard repair. We have now controlled the flow of water from the burst pipe, and an expert team has investigated to confirm the road surface that we are safe to continue with repair.
“As soon as we confirm that we will dig the damaged stream of the pipe and decide how to fix it.
“You should not notice any changes in your water supply, while we complete these emergency repairs and we will continue to update you as we work to solve it as soon as possible.
“As soon as we know more, we will return with an update.”
