But hey, it’s a good thing “no one is above the law” right Tish?

Here are more details on this bizarre new story Post,

Convicted New York State Attorney General Letitia James has kept her “fugitive” relative in her Virginia home for five years, according to reports.

The granddaughter of the targeted prosecutor, Nakia Thompson, has been living with her three children in James’ three-bedroom property in Norfolk since 2020.

It has now been revealed that Thompson is officially listed as a “fugitive”, wanted by authorities in Forsyth County, North Carolina for failing to complete his probation, as court documents seen by the Daily Mail reveal.

According to court documents, Nakia Thompson (above) is officially listed as a “fugitive,” wanted by authorities in Forsyth County, North Carolina for failing to complete her probation.

“Ms. Thompson was sentenced to probation on misdemeanor charges of assault, battery and trespassing, and she knowingly avoided probation supervision,” Keith Acree of the North Carolina Department of Corrections told the Daily Mail.

“A fugitive is considered a fugitive. If Thompson is located in North Carolina he faces arrest,” Acree said, adding that his crimes are considered low-level and, thus, “non-extraditable.”

Thompson told a grand jury in June that she has been living rent-free in James’s $235k Virginia home because the attorney general bought it, and doesn’t even pay for basic maintenance, as The New York Times previously reported.

Court records show he was convicted in October 2011 of one count of assault and battery and one count of second-degree trespassing, and was sentenced to probation.

more than fox news,

A federal grand jury in Virginia has indicted New York Attorney General Letitia James on bank fraud charges.

The grand jury was meeting in court for the Eastern District of Virginia on Thursday to consider charges, sources confirmed to Fox News.

Earlier this year, the Justice Department launched an investigation into James for alleged mortgage fraud. James last year successfully won a civil case against President Donald Trump and his Trump Organization over allegations of faulty business practices.

In a letter, Federal Housing Finance Director Bill Pulte alleged that James may have engaged in mortgage fraud by making false or misleading statements on property records, such as a loan application that stated that her property in Virginia was her primary residence, a building record that incorrectly stated that her multifamily Brooklyn property had five residences instead of four, and a mortgage application that incorrectly stated that James was her father’s spouse.

In September, a housing and finance banker familiar with James’ investigation told Fox News that he is under investigation for, in at least one instance, declaring his investment property as his primary or secondary residence, which would get him better loan terms.

Fox News Digital has contacted James’ office and attorney.
