Telangana Legislative Affairs, Industries and Information Technology Minister Dudila Sridhar Babu made it clear that their government will not indulge in vendetta politics and will take action based on facts and findings.

As the budget session of the state assembly begins on Thursday (February 8), the minister has spoken extensively to state legislators on a variety of issues. news18.

He said that there were many irregularities during the construction and power purchase process of the Kaleswaram project, but the investigation was still ongoing.

He denied that the BRS party’s accusations were baseless. Meanwhile, the state government is keen to vote on the account budget.

“We published a white paper on the state of the country’s finances at the last parliamentary session, explaining in particular the actual situation in the electricity sector. We are very committed to the implementation of the six guarantees. We will present the budget in such a way that from now on we will Move forward by setting your finances in a disciplined manner,” said Sridhar Babu.

The government has pledged to implement these six guarantees within 100 days of coming to power. Talking about the raising of funds for the above guarantees, he said that they explained through the white paper how the funds were misused by the people.

“The entire state coffers are empty so far. No matter what, we will not back down from fulfilling the promises we made to the people of Telangana. We said on day one that we will roll out six guarantees in 100 days , I’m very sure we will do it. They will continue without any obstacles,” he said.

The minister said the implementation of the guarantees is an ongoing process and they are making plans accordingly.

Sharing insights into the schemes that have been implemented, he said these schemes have made free bus travel a reality for women. “It has received a huge response. While we have set a target of 100 days to implement these guarantees, if all goes well, we will roll them out ahead of the set timeline,” he added.

Previously, the state treasury received huge revenue from registration and real estate transactions, but due to concerns, revenue has decreased recently.

Sridhar Babu also said that they will continue the public interest schemes implemented by the previous regime. “We will make fine adjustments if necessary,” he said.

The Minister made it clear that they would have no qualms in rectifying these issues. Given the favorable atmosphere in the country towards the industrial and information technology sectors, the government has been taking steps to implement policies that benefit the people.
