Taylor spoke further on the issue, pointing out the potential risks involved in always creating suspicion and doubt among security personnel every time you go through security screening at an airport.

Previously, his wife (maiden name Taylor Dohm) changed her last name to Lautner after getting married in 2022.

This makes them have exact first and last names, leading to confusion among people.

So while traveling, the couple attracted attention with the exact same name, naturally increasing the security guard’s suspicions.

Commenting on the situation, he explained: “The Transportation Security Administration, the airport. They’d ask ‘Well, which one of you is Taylor?’” We were like, “Both of us.” And then, they’re like, “Okay, okay, which one of you is Taylor Lautner?” Same with both of us. They said ‘This looks suspicious, we’re going to send you to security. ‘”
