Sylvester Stallone charged $3 million a day to work on ‘Armored’

Sylvester Stallone reportedly charged over $3 million to star in Randall Emmett’s film, armoredWithout knowing that the filmmaker is producing and directing the project.

Stallone was completely unaware on the film set of the fact that Emmett was both the director and producer of the film, because Los Angeles Times Claimed through multiple sources.

However, the filmmaker stated that Stallone was not surprised by Emmett’s “presence” on the set.

According to the publication, multiple cast members reported that Stallone was paid $3.5 million for a day’s work on Armored, a film that was made with exemptions from the union during the 2023 SAG-AFTRA strike.

“When Stallone got there, Randall asked the DP to come in and talk to Sly,” a witness on set told the outlet.

“He said, ‘Sly doesn’t know exactly what I’m directing. I want you to support me [film shoot] Things are going bad and I need to take charge of the ship.”

Prop master Steve Noel shared, “Stallone basically took over for that one day.”

Some crew members also created a ruckus on the sets of the film.

Line producer Josh Fruehling shared, “The set was safe and all crew and vendors were paid.” First assistant director Gustavo Peña said, “Overall, the shooting took place without incident.”
