Stephen Bear ordered to pay ex Georgia Harrison £22,000 in profits from secret sex tape

Former Celebrity Big Brother winner Stephen Bell has been ordered to pay back after earning tens of thousands of pounds from illegally sharing private videos of him having sex with reality star Georgia Harrison on his OnlyFans website.

The 34-year-old faces nine months in prison if he does not pay a confiscation order of £22,305 within three months.

At Chelmsford Crown Court in Essex on Thursday, Judge Christopher Morgan also ordered Bear Stearns to pay Ms Harrison £5,000 compensation, which he warned could be enforced through the magistrates’ court if necessary. .

Speaking outside the court, Ms Harrison called Bear Stearns’ profits “abhorrent”.

“No one has the right to make money from any crime but to make so much money from image-based sexual abuse is frankly quite abhorrent,” she said. “I think it is important that anyone who commits such a horrific crime returns the money they have earned to their victims and the justice system, particularly following a successful conviction.”

The only recourse was for the Essex Star to pledge to donate some of the funds to charities “that have supported me through this ordeal”.

Bell was jailed in March last year for voyeurism and two counts of disclosing private sexual images and films with intent to cause distress.

He was released from prison in January after serving 10 and a half months of a 21-month prison sentence for sharing the film.

Wearing sunglasses, a pink shirt and slippers, Bell gave reporters a thumbs up when she arrived at court on Friday.

Andrew Busfield, prosecuting, said funds from the confiscation order made by the court under the Proceeds of Crime Act would be donated to the Treasury, the police and police charities, and he invited the court to make a compensation order against Ms Harrison.

Ms Harrison said she was ordered to pay £207,900 in damages and £213,515 in legal costs to her unsuccessful free solicitors following a High Court action, but Bear Stearns “did not pay a penny”.

“If you’re innocent, you shouldn’t have to pay the price,” Bell interjected from the secure dock of the court.

“That was certainly proven in court,” Ms Harrison replied from the witness box.

She said she had been told that enforcing the High Court ruling would likely cost more than she expected to recoup. Mr Busfield said: “Reality TV stars are not going to put in huge sums of money to fund what is the world’s most expensive High Court action.”

Ms Harrison went on to tell the court that Bell had “never shown an ounce of remorse or apology for what he had done”. “I’ve got a restraining order,” Bell shouted from the dock.

“It completely destroyed me for a long time,” Ms Harrison said of the private video shared online.

“One thing that has always really affected me is that if I ever want to have children one day, the camera will always be there.” She also said she also lost her job as a result of the incident.

Proceedings were briefly interrupted when three young men entered the court and sat next to the defendant in the dock, while Ms Harrison was in the witness box. After the judge spoke to them, they left and said “Free Stephen Bear.” Little Bear insists he doesn’t know them.

Gemma Rose, for Bear Stearns, argued that a compensation order was already in force – a civil judgment in the High Court.

Mr Busfield also told the court that a restraining order was in place over the £60,000 proceeds from the sale of Bear’s house, which Ms Harrison said Bear sold from prison to a company called “Well Below Market Value”. “We Buy Any House” company.

Judge Christopher Morgan said it was “in the interest of justice in my view” to impose a confiscation order of £22,305 on the video profits and a compensation order of £5,000 against Ms Harrison.

He said if the confiscation order was not paid within three months and Bell did not request an extension, the defendant would face nine months in prison.

The judge told Bell: “For those who are jailed for non-payment, they serve the entire sentence rather than half, and serving time does not mean no payment is required. Until it is paid, it remains It’s a debt and an order that must be repaid.”
