Ottawa – Statistics Canada is ready to report inflation data for June today.
A Reuters Pole of economists hopes that the annual speed of inflation last month increased to 1.9 percent last month, which was 1.7 percent in May.
The BMO hopes that inflation increased by two percent in June as food and transport costs pushed prices more for consumers.
The report of June inflation will be a final look at the final data of Bank of Canada before its next interest rate decision on 30 July.
