Srinagar recorded the hottest day of the season again at 32.2 ° C

In Kupwara district of North Kashmir, the mercury settled at 29.9 degrees Celsius, while a temperature of 23.6 ° C was recorded in a famous ski resort Gulmarg.

The heat wave condition in Jammu Division Jammu was also prevalent in a maximum temperature recording of 40.0 ° C, while Banihal, Batot, Bhadarwah and Katra, today recorded a daytime temperature above 30 ° C.

Meanwhile, Director Meteorological Department (MET), Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed has predicted a temporary relief in the prevailing heatwave conditions, which states that a light rain and thunder activity is expected from this evening or tomorrow, which will bring the mercury down by 20 May.

He said, “Thunder shower activity is expected till 20 May till 20 May 20 May 20,” he said, “he said that a small part of the summer wave is again expected from May 21 to May 24.
