Kajigund – Kashmir entrance – recorded a daytime temperature of 35.0 ° C, while Pahgam, Kupwara and Gulag recorded 29.6 degrees, 34.5 degrees and 25.7 degrees respectively.
Meanwhile, according to another independent weather forecast, Faizan Arif Keng, Kajigund recorded the highest June temperature since 35.0 ° C, 1988 since 1988. This is the third all-time June temperature for Kajigund.
The second all-time highest temperature is at 35.3 ° C, which was recorded on 27 June 1988 and the all-time highest temperature is 35.7 ° C, which was recorded on 26 June 1988.
Srinagar has crossed the previous record, as Kashmir was also seen in the night temperature. It recorded the 4th all -time highest night temperature at 23.2 degrees Celsius in 134 years.
According to Keng, the temperature is also the highest since 24 June 1990, when a minimum night temperature of 23.6 degrees Celsius was recorded. In addition, 23.2 ° C was also recorded on 15 June 2008. The highest minimum minimum night temperature in June is at 24.6 degrees Celsius, which was recorded on 29 June 1978.
Meanwhile, Director of Met, Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed said that usually it will be cloudy with intermittent mantras of rain and thunder, until tomorrow it is expected in many places.
He said that on 23 and 24 June, the weather is expected to dry up, a brief mantra of light rain and thunderstorms at different places. From 25 June to 27 June, cloud weather is forecast with the possibility of stopping between moderate rains and thunderstorms at several places.
Mate has also issued an advice, urging farmers to continue agricultural operations till June 20.
According to the advisor, there is a possibility of moderate to heavy rains with intense rainfall at some places, mainly in Jammu Division, on 21 and 22 June. “Flash floods are expected at some places with landslides, mudslides and shooting stones,” it was added- (KNO)
