Srinagar boy’s body recovered from Jhelum after 3 days

Srinagar, 26 May: Officials said the body of a minor boy missing three days ago was recovered from the Jhelum River in Nurbagh area of ​​Srinagar on Monday morning.

An official said the boy went missing from Nurbagh, Srinagar on 22 May, after which the SDRF and other rescue teams started a search operation.

He said that his body was recovered from the river near Chochen Fakir, Takanavripora Noorbagh.

He said, “The body was seen by the sand -digesters and informed the police. He was identified as Inayat Ahmed Gani alias Anees (13), who is the son of Ghor Mohammad Ghani of Palapora, Goripora,” he said.
